It is my goal when undertaking any work to contemplate every decisions. I strive to offer clear communication by preserving the integrity of material and dedication to craft. The subject for my work is drawn from personal experience and interest that tend to celebrate community, has a historical context and is handled with subtle humor. My work also has a distinct southern quality that is either unintentional or unavoidable, but surely originates from my father’s well-worn advice to never forget who you are or where you come from.
